PERSONAL WORK 74 images Created 20 Jan 2019
When I'm taking a photo for no other reason than a subject caught my eye, and I'm not on the clock for a client, I reach for a vintage Rolleiflex TLR camera. I move slowly, look deeply, and try to receive the subject, rather than "shoot it" or "capture it". I've dragged these 60-year-old fully manual cameras all over the world, and loved every minute of it. The combination of subject matter, film, and format result in images with a timeless feel. Many of the images in this gallery are represented by National Geographic Image Collection.
